Default 99 accord 2.3 sohc vtec...Can anyone hear vtec at all????

I just picked up a 99 accord 2dr w/ a sohc vtec motor....I was wondering if anyone can actually hear the vtec kick in???My brother has a 95 civic ex, and I can barely hear it, but it is there...Not looking to do any mods to this car, just a daily driver, but since I seen the vtec logo on the valve cover, I just had to be a little curious.....I cant hear **** with this car though....Any expierences????Please share...

I don't even remember hitting VTEC before putting my intake in. And the intake went in just about a month after I actually got the car.

But with the intake, I can definitely hear it.

After I put my intake on I can hear it pretty loud. Now that I have a turbo I can't even hear it over the turbo spool.

lmao......na....no where even close to how shitty paul's was. it wont go up any further without hacking into the bumper support, it's bolted to the bumper support. a lip kit will fix it, but i dont think it's really bad, i'ma invest in more boost b4 i get a lip.

I have high flow intake, and it gets really loud when vtec kicks in.

BTW, the v6 also have the prematurely failing auto tranny as well-- some people got Honda to fix the problem, others forked $4000 to get it fixed themselves.
