ground control coilovers stuck
man handle it. get some leverage on it. either ways you should be able to break at least the top part loose. then if the bottom one is stuck then just use something to hold the coilover housing or wuteva its called (not on the treads though) and use the coilover adjuster tool and lower the bottom sleeve. but i mean the only reason its stuck is because of dirt in between the treads. just man handle it and it'll eventually break loose.
spray that bitch up with some quick release spary, w-d-40, or this **** i seen called prolong. n e of them work great. spray a **** load of it on , let it sit over night and try breakin it loose the next day.

GC's do not have dual perches jammed together to lock it in place. They only have a single perch w/ a locking allen-head bolt.

clean off all of the funk under and over the perch with some pb blaster or something slippery. If all else fails, try to get some channel locks on it to get alittle more leverage. good luck
This happened to a freind of mine and he disassembled the shock and took the sleeve out and soaked it in kerosene and it did break the perch loose. I know it sounds weird but he said it worked very good, I never saw it. It may be of some use to you. Me personally, I would spray it with PB Blaster and use a pair of channel lock to break it loose. Good luck

Make shure both front wheels are raised off the ground when adjusting the coil-overs. If you have a sway bar and one wheel remains on the ground the bar will keep the spring loaded.
