I came across some a very interesting find today while looking into my engine bay, I have no injector resister box and i have a obd1 motor...... anyone know if they did away with inject resistor boxes on any particular year of 92-95 civics? I cant believe i havent fried the injectors on my d15b vtec yet.....

 

they did away with resistor boxes in 91 there bud...

 

i am assuming you have a 92-95 coupe??? which would make your motor OBD1. and you have a vtec head on it?? or is it a jdm D15b?? either way you dont have resistor boxes. if you are running an afc hack and dsm injectors it will be necessary to wire up some resistor boxes but they arent needed if everything is stock

 

Well i just thought it was wierd, i had a 92 civic cx hatch before this and it had a resister box, swapped a obd1 jdm h22 into a buddies 96 hatch and it had a resistor box, i know for a fact they didnt do away with resistor boxes in 91. But i had another friend with a 94 dx check his and he had no resistor box either. Guess honda didnt know what they wanted.
