Default 92-93 DA Exhaust pics Please. I searched hard.

I just bought a 1992 GSR with the original B17 in it for $1000. Some old lady drove the thing and traded it in. After I bought it, I decided to actually use VTEC since I'm sure this lady never did. After the first pull...The muffler blows right off and I end up dragging the thing for half a block. What I'm saying is that I need an exhaust but am unsure of whats available and what looks good. So if you could, please post pics of your DA exhaust. Im kind of aiming towards the HKS Hiper hint hint. .

I've got the Hiper and I love it! Fairly quiet and great fit!

I actually would have prefered the Thermal, but didn't know much about it when I bought my exhaust. Heard it on a DC2 and it sounds great. Even quieter than the Hiper.

The Tanabe RM looks like a shittily fabricated custom exhaust.

the angled exhaust is just a style people like. i dont believe they sell the piping like that unless hks does. i personally like how the "supra" styled angle is. angled/up.

RS*R Ex mag series, not the ex mag gt watever just the EX-MAG is the BEST exhaust i think for it's stealth and quietness, but still great power gains. In my opinion sounds the best also, DEEP tone when the car is gunned, but normal driving is quiet as it needs to be, even at freeway speeds it's sounds good, nothing loud

I agree. Ever since I could remember I've always wanted to get the original RS*R exhaust before I even had my DA. Best looking (stealth), nice sound, high quality, good fit.

Another nice exhaust is the Tanabe G Power Medallion. They were never sold here in the US, but they are a little bling bling. Not loud at all; passed the BAR certification with flying colors at 90.5dB (95 max in CA)

Greddy SP is another good choice. My bro has it on his DC2 and also passed with 90.5dB.

I needed something different thats why I sold it plus I caught a deal on the RM! Tanabe makes GREAT exhaust systems!

thats one of the reasons mine is gone, canister is way too low when your car is dropped....getting it up on the flatbed one time I broke down, and scraped it to all hell. not to mention speed bumps and inclined driveways... clearance with the RM is much easier on my nerves

I just took some pics of my car; here is my hks exhaust; its a little different because i hit a speed bump back in the day and it RIPPED the rear section almost all the way off; i had a muffler shop heat it up and bend it back a little bit so it sits up higher...either way i love the exhaust; it scrapes over speed bumps tho; not the muffler but the piping; the 2nd section sits low to the ground by the control arm...still a good exhaust; i got taxed; i paid 800 picked up in a shop in burien....hth

i have the exmag, and the only thing i hear is the humming sound besides that its STOCKK quiet gunned or not. I have the only shinny one that looks like the greddy sp, i relly dont dig the new exmag that came out , because the whole canister is like black.

Yep. The seconday resonator is the only part thats every scrapped on mine, too. I've since then raised my car to a more friendly height and have had no problems since then.

$890!!! ****, I got mine for $575 shipped two years ago...
