when its cold...really cold like it is now...when i start my car there is a squeeking noise...almost like a loss belt but its not that.. any ideas?

 

does it happen only when the car is moving? where is the sound comming from?

be alittle more specific. i had something similar and i applied some pressure to my brakes when i was approaching a light and it went away

 

Are you sure it's not a loose belt?

 

i'm thinking my brake pad is moving slightly and that's what was making the noise, time for another brake upgrade

 

Yeah I dont know what that **** is but I get a squeaking noise when then I cold start and I hit about 3000 rpm but it goes away after my engine warms up.

 

I have the same sound sometimes. Someone mentioned to me that my water pump may need replacing soon.

yea excatly its only when the cars cold not moving...idk

 

This happened to me, I was low on power steering fluid. Check fluids and belt tensions.

 

if you still have a/c check a/c idler pulley
