Yep... did it...

215/45-16 Azenis on 16x7 SSR Competitions as seen below! Rear fenders were rolled cause there was a slight rub on the autox course but never happened on the street. As a matter of fact... these wheels AND tires are for sale. So shameless...

Sure, I've run 215/45-16 on the front of one of my Acuras.

Doesn't it depend on which model car you're talking about, though?

I ran the 215/45x16" Azenis on my 2000 Honda Civic Si and it really slowed the car down due to change in gearing, and it rubbed so bad I sold them a month later.

A few questions, on what size rim and did you have any rubbing issues?

I had 215/45/16's and my wheels had an offset of +42. I experienced minimal rubbing in the rear but I was also running 8 and 10 kgm spring rates so nothing was really moving.

A bit of an understatement... Love the azenis. Drives like and R compound minus the max grip. 245 Azenis for street duty on the new ride!

You just let a whole lotta cats outta da bag boy... Unfotunately test fitting didn't goes as well as I planned on saturday. Once we used 6mm spacers to get the tire away from the strut we had about 5mm of overlap with the fender. If you could roll/trim the fenders in stock we would have been a-ok. Tread width on a 7.5 rim was 10.5+ inches!!!!
