Highbeam bulbs, 9005?? search isnt working

If you are referring to the Integra then 9005 is the highbeam, which makes no sense what so ever given the name. If lowbeams are low then why do they have a higher bulb number 9006 than the higher high beam 9005? No doubt another ploy to confuse unsuspecting common sense having people...
