Sorry to jack your thread but i gotta question,. When you throw a GSR motor in a 99Civic Si obviously you cant use a CAI made for an Si, you have to use a short ram, because the GSR manifold sits lower. If i buy the Skunk 2 manifold, can i THEN use **** made for an Si? I.E. CAI, Intercooler piping? Being that you have rubber couplers, cant you use civic intercooler piping and just push the charge pipe down a few inches to mate up to the TB?

yes that would work.. i ran into the same problem w/ my turbo kit.. it was designed for a gsr into a 5gen civic (drag3 hybrid kit) but it wasnt made for a gsr w/ a skunk2 IM so we had to do a little cutting on the pipes and get some couplings..

i did it. It was pretty easy and straight foward the only thing was i did it on the engine when it was out of my car sitting on a crate. It will probably be hard scrapping the old gasket off the engine when you take the stock manifold off. That probably the most important step. Make sure ALL the old gasket material is off before putting the skunk2 manifold on or you might have leaks

All the GS-R Skunk2 IM notes are archived in the Integra forum.
