Default Hyperground wires....suggestions

Well I was farting around the internet and found some hyperground wires...and it seems that every car magazine has them or has had them in their magazine with dyno....
first my question is:
Is it worth the 100 bucks? I mean they show dynos of a couple hp (and thats to the wheels) so there has got to be difference in the butt dyno too

my second question is:
Has anyone done this mod and can vouch for the results in the accord, I would think in the older accord it would benefit mostly just due to technology.

my 3rd question is:
Anyone know the best grounding points...and where all of them are.

TIA

Edit: I would assume a more powerful engine setup would benefit mostly from better grounding wire/better grounding points...my car is a pretty much stock f22A1...but plans for a h22A.

no. some people claim to notice a slight difference, but certainly nothing worth $100.

i'll leave the other questions to more experienced parties.

just make your own out of some 4 guage power wire and some gold plated connectors from radio shack, clean up all your connections too. you can see all your grounding points under the hood, just look for some old copper wires exposed (should be brown) the one from the chassis to the valve cover will be right in front of you. it shouldn't cost you more than $50. i hear that it helps throttle reponse a little bit via strengthening the ground for ignition to spark better. this topic has been discussed before, search through the archives.

w3rd, DYI. as far as the best grounding points, think of it this way, the shorter the ground wire the better, just don't expect to see any real gains though.

Import Tuner listed it in there top 10 mods quoting : "...this product made up the three-part equation (i/h/e)??? on several occasions, extracting power time and time again, for a mere 100 bucks its some of the best bang for the buck." This is what I have seen too and thats why I asked, granted I am all about the DIY of buying 6-8 feet of 2-4 guage wire and making the connections etc, obviously there is power to be had in all there applications and thought to expand on here with my trusty h-t'ers.

agreed its odd to think that wire could increase power as much as IT claims. but i am an avid IT fan..

I know a lot of other magazines rave about groundwires.....and I would think the better and shorter the ground wire the better flow of current, I would have only thought it would have helped with the electrical system (and sound system) but never knew it had performance potential. Thank you guys for the input.

After making my own kit, and deciding to sell it, I thought I would do a search. Thats how I got here...
Couple of tips...length of wire doesn't matter, just make it good quality.
Don't connect the wires end-to-end like the Hyper Ground. My tests showed that you still had a lot of voltage fluctuation if you did it this way. Go to a central point.
Two points that gave the most returns, thermostat housing and alternator housing.
Thermo housing is the main ground for the ECU and sensors...
And if you wanted to see pics of my kit, Click here
Hope all of this helped...

i too got a ground kit from a newfound buddy of mine. $50. my OEM wires were fraying and not covered, so i figured, WTF? they are nice, and i don't know if they help, but i think so. and they sure look pretty. he's willing to make more, and for $50 you can't go wrong...

ground wires = scam. DIY for $5 if you feel the need. Worried that the DIY job won't have that "race" look? red Krylon paint, $3.

Well, I guess I expected this...
If you think you can recreate what I offer for $5 game on. Knock yourself out.
I have actually done tests on the electrical behaviours in a number of cars. After some work, I have removed a lot of the instabilities that exist by using this ground kit.
I also started out doing a DIY ground kit. After a number of tests on a number of cars, I thought I would offer a kit that would save some people some time.
Now, for the dude that would rather burn his money, you're ridiculous. Grow up...
