Pretty simple...do they still hold auto-x events at Fed-Ex Field??

Yes, but they cost an arm and a leg. $10+ / minute of track time...

Sure, but if you're Eric Wong, a spin will cost you $45,000 (or whatever Z06s are selling for these days).

At least I got FTD until they changed the course!!! and it only cost me my $1000 deductible.

Cliff's Notes version:

Poorly designed finish on the course ... it had a zigzag type of finihs, but if you took the right line, it was straight. As I crossed the finish, I hit the brakes and lifted which caused the rear to come out... slid pretty far and into a curb, then on top of the tree.

Told insurance company exactly what happened... took them a month to investigate and then decide to allow the claim... fixed car, and then sold it...

Hey RJ, thanks alot man. Lots of excellent info for n00bs. Appreciate it. Definately answered some of the questions that I still had. You will definately see me and GTlvr82 out there this spring. Wish the n00bs luck.
