Z3!!!
hey, i have a 1992 civic sedan dx and want to put those z3 (bmw) fenders on it cuz im thinking they look real good on those cars, but i see many ppl advertising them and when it comes to body panels and such im not sure where the ok material and the junk comes in. anyone know a good manufacturer? im just lookin for the material that the original fenders are made of. thanks for ur thoughts.
Yeah z3 fenders are really hard to come by at these times...
I tried to pick some up the other day and they told me they would get some in stock in about 3 weeks. z3 fenders are really rare.. i mean if you have them people really think for a second " hey nice bm, ohh never mind".
If I get my hands on some I will send you a pm.

You guys are evil.
In response to your question: chances are, you're not going to find many people around here who are going to give you a genuine answer. Most of the guys/girls on here are more fond of the OEM/JDM look.

ya, i saw a few on ebay, but for all i know they could be stock fenders that have been cut...and thats not good, or paer thin sheet metal, or crap like that. oem material would be good. its alot of effort for just a few slits in the side. but damn they look good. specially on civics. theres noone around here who hasthem so ill be ahead for abit. there are few ppl around here who do anything but mutilate their cars and everyone thinks its hot. all i want is some tasteful decor and lots of go.

I think they look ghey and totally out of place on pretty much any car, especially a Civic. Now an actual Z3, it was meant to have them, designed with them, so it looks good on those. Otherwise,

sigh....its all a matter of preference, i happen to like them, i ask a simple question, and i am told to grate cheese and go scuba with my civic. after some lookin into and complete overlooking of ppls rudeness ive found autobahn to have the most impressive presentation, but now im asking where the ppl on back order have ordered from. and really the fenders could look like **** if the color sucks, like lime green or pinkish purple. i have neither.
Get them off Ebay. If you haven't noticed this is kinda how every post is on this forum. 50 replys telling you that your gay and one post that answers your question. Followed by 50 more post debating what is cool and what isn't.
But yeah Ebay is your best bet. I just typed in "Z3 civic 92" and a page full popped up. As far as wether they are a crappy product or not just look at the history of the seller.

Everytime I've seen those fenders in person, they've been very thin sheetmetal or fiberglass. I've never seen them produced as thick as the OEM fenders, unless the gills themselves were grafted into the factory fender. It's just not a high quality part, as most of the companys that offer them aren't concerned with quality.
