Got my new Tanabe suspension bars and under brace *** PICS
Well I got my front and rear upper Sustec strut bars and a front under brace for my 88 crx HF. They look pretty nice and simple. I think they will do well to stiffen up the suspension a little. I've still got to get my ST front and rear sway bars and some kind of lower rear tie bar. They will all go good with my 10 pt. roll cage and TEIN SS dampners. Any of you guys have any experience with any of these Tanabe bars on EF's? I searched and didn't come up with anything...Tell me what ya think.
also got a couple other things...

haha...seems like i own one doesnt it? I've actually just been saving quite a bit of money up for a while now to do this project. I'm only 18 and I've been saving since before I graduated highschool to do this project. I'm clipping the rear of the car right now and doing the body work...those parts are just waiting to be put on!
damn looks like you bought the whole gammet at once from engine to appearance and everything in between...just from the pics i can say nice part selection you are gong to have a mean beast on your hands.
i have the tanabe rear strut bar
didnt do too much improvement in handling it did however eliminate creaks in the rear hatch
i have a comptech rear tiebar with ITR 22mm swaybar in the rear already before i installed the strutbar ....soo that might explain the limited improvement i felt
but i would have to say get a rear swaybar...by far the best suspension mod ive done...biggest improvement that can be truely felt
btw how much was the tanabe front lower tiebar and where did u purchase it from?

yeah I dont quite have all my parts yet but I figured I will go ahead and get all them at once and try to be done spending the money on this project and move onto another one.
Yeah I have heard the same results from other people about the rear sway bar. That's good to hear that it helped. So did you fit that rear sway bar with your stock lower control arms and everything? Also, I have heard that adding a front sway bar causes too much oversteer (I think), but that may just be for certain cars. I really dont know.

Oh yeah and I got the front under brace (tie bar) for $91 shipped and I get most of my parts through a guy I know that's just a middle man. He can get pretty damn good prices. His site is http://www.importcarpartsplus.com
On his site he mostly has stuff you might not be interested in like ricer stuff but he can practically get anything if you email or call him. His name is Justin and tell him Zach sent you if you try him out.

Damn, those upper strut bars look IDENTICAL to my ebay specials. My lower braces are the same style as those tops too. But I know Mine are not name brand. I paid $54 for all 4. Wish I could see the tanabes up close, the photo is identical to mine.
interesting...I really love the design and style of these bars for some reason.
