Default rev wheels 16lbs is that too heavy?

http://store1.yimg.com/I/speedandstyle_1774_783778

is 16.3lbs too much, i was considering the 5zigen fno1r rim in 16" which is 15lbs but i really like the look of this wheel on a black car.
weight retrieved from http://store.racinglab.com/5zfnrawh16.html

I guess my question is, will this effect performance compared to the 16" rim and tire combo?

these will be on a turbo d16 ~ 240 whp, so maybe it wont effect acceleration too much

I know, what ever happened to silver wheels? Still the best color for wheels if you ask me.

i completely agree, never liked flat black wheels. These wheels look timeless to me and i like the finish hypersilver (almost a polished aluminum) which looks better than the standard gray/silver import wheels. I dont knwo why its soo hard to find polished wheels for a fwd

Damn, that looks nice ...

When I went from steelies to my rims which were 14 Lbs each, I didn't notice much so 16 Lbs shouldn't be a problem

oh and BTW.. those rims looks nice and they're not gonna affect your performance to a noticable point

aren't those 17's though? 16 lbs for a 17" wheel is good....i didn't know REV made any wheels smaller than 17"

no they dont make anything smaller than 17's I wish they made these in 16's cause i love the look of them but 16" rims are the best looking size for a hatch with a lip, but I hope I can pull of these 17's

it all depends on the 17s you chose.. light colored ones will make them look bigger than they are and ones that are dark with a lip sorta makes them look smaller. Its all a big eye illusion.
