those who have read other threads ive posted about my car accident are familiar with my situation.....basically i hit guard rail and **** my rear up.....i got estimates and they range from 2.5k-3.5k.....i have only liability ins. coverage so im fucked with that. i was gonna say it was a hit and run but since the damage prices so high and the hatch it worth less in stock form im afraid the he insurance co. will total it and take it. body shops are sayin in order to fit the gate and bumper correctly they need to straighten out my frame which they claim is tweaked.......i need advice on wha to do here cuz im not tryin to spend this much $ on a tweaked frame....so should i sell it with all stock parts back on and get new hatch or just pay and bite the bullet....im new in this car crash ins. game so i need advice please on what u guys would d in my shoes....thanx alot

Imo if the frame is bent its not worth it. Let the insurance total it and get a new ride.

depends how much your frame is bent. Those bodyshop guys will do as much work on your car as they can becuase the bigger the project the more money they get so I would suggest go to a frame shop and have it checked out for $60-70 and see what he says. I bent my frame but it is very minute and the car still drives fine. I will be welding in a new rear quarter and leaving it bent.
