I love the LS swap personally, with a b16 tranny. I will probably get flamed for saying it..but its just my opinion. I have had 2 LS crx's and on B16 rex, my buddies have had many different setups ranging from jdm ZC to b18C specR, for your money though, LS is good for a very respectable street car

I also have a ocmplete LS motor here (b18b) that hydrolocked and bent a rod in cyl1. I have replacement rods and b20 pistons and LS pistons. The ead is removed so if you wanted to take it to a shop and have it bored out a lil for B20 torque, or else just reassemble with the one new rod and have a solid LS. approx 75k miles on the motor and it came out of an automatic. I would be willing to sell the longblock with rods and even b20 postons very reasonable. Let me know if you are interested

How much are you trying to spend?

It will give everyone a better idea of what you can actually take into consideration.

LS swap is gold.

Figure about $1,100 for everything to do the change over.

Figure about 800 installed if your car has MPFI.
Figure about 1000 installed if your car has DPFI.
