OK, heres the deal awhile back I saw someone with a red EK hatch selling yellow headlight bulb kits. I cant seem to find it doing a search, or anything on a search for that matter, I even tried putting in "itr" and did a search and nothing came up !?!?!

Anwyays does anyone remeber seeing the yellow headlight bulb post, if so do you remeber the person selling them or by chance have the thread link?

MTEC makes these bulbs for H4, not sure for PIAA, but I think I've seen the H4 crystal ion bulbs for PIAA before. I have the crystal ion H3's in my fog lights.

ebay always has yellow bulbs for sale, mostly cheap ones(the ones that blow out in a few months), however they do have the piaa h3's at a reasonable price.

I have PIAA's in my hatch, I love them. They cost a lot. They don't sell them in the states from what I understand. They are yellow light, with green, blue, and purple tint. You can see different colors at different angles. Like HID but not as bright.

I always loved Roaring Turtles fog lights. Nice color also. So do people acutally

drive around with yellow bulbs as driving lights or just in fogs. Also, on the guy

posting the the MTEC Super Whites with the yellows, well do the Super Whites look

better than Sylvania Silverstars? Reason asking most people like Silvertstars but

mine acutally sucks when it comes to driving around with my friends that have

them. They still look kind of stock and all little **** yellow compared to other

Silverstars.

Just found these on Ebay and was seeing if this would be a good buy? Wattage is

more than Silvertstars which I might considering buying. Silvertstars are 4000K

and these Bulbs are 4,300K

You high jacked this thread, but o well. I don't know anything really about MTEC bulbs, and I've never seen their gold ones. But my friend sells MTEC bulbs @ $25. I personally don't use anything else other than PIAA for my fron lighting. I have XtremeWhite H4 and corner bulbs, and Crystal Ion H3's for my fogs. 4,000k and 4,500k are in terms of the Kelvin: Color temperature is a unit of measure for the color of light – it is not necessarily related to the heat of the light source. A higher color temperature represents a color closer to actual sunlight. Courtesy of PIAA.com

EDIT: Just did a google search and found that PIAA does make them in H4, H1, H7, HB, and obviously, H3. They also go by 3 different names. XTRA ION (old name I think), Crystal ION (most common), and PLASMA ION (possibly new name), and their rating is 2,500K.

A good replacement bulb for me has been my GE 9003Sb. I got them for like 15 dollars from Wal Mart. The high beam kinda sucks, but they've lasted me for more than a year with white light and no hint of blue.

I didn't really jack the thread, if I did like you said "oh well". But thanks for the

information, but I just went ahead and bought some MTEC bulbs.
