Making headlights in an EG yellow?
I saw someone on here awhile ago, I think they had a red EK, but anyways he was selling headlight bulbs that were a nice bright yellow. I want to do this to my EG, can I just spray my bulbs yellow? Does anyone know?

is is being JDM the only reason to want these? if i ever saw someone with **** yellow headlamps I would laugh at them. I love the one saying xenon light doesnt let you see better. Last time I drove either of my cars, the HID did a lot better then a set of halogens.
Sorry I dont have $1000 to spend on headlight bulbs.
I like the yellow look myself, its different.
But your right I shouldnt buy them and just get some hyper whites or HIDs like you and everyone else.
Now when you have something thats relevant to my topic, please post.

but you have 20 to throw away on a cheap pair of yellow bulbs? i really doubt they offer any kind of usable light. 1000 for HIDs? No where near. I got a kit for my civic for under 350. Sorry I see no purpose of these bulbs and any reason to waste money on them. but its your car.
Yes, I'd rather "throw away" $20 on cheap bulbs because I'm not a millionaire. I work part time and go to school. And they will prolly offer the same amount of light as I have now. You got your kit for $350 US, come live up here in Canada and find me a kit for that cheap.
Your right it is my car, so why even bother with your first statement? As far I remeber I asked about making my headlights yellow, not your opinion on how I am wasting my money.
Again you can stop posting **** I dont want to hear or be of some use.

1. Civic headlights werent meant for HIDs.
2. Yellow light is actually better for wet roads since other colors of light are reflected by the surface of the road, yellow also enhances depth perception.

did you freaking read what he said??
Why do you think many cars have amber foglights?
Yellow headlights are actually used by ALOT of cars in Europe, since they have alot more mountain roads, inclement weather (rain, fog, snow) etc. on average than the USA does.

^^^ is the HID bulb coated yellow or something? How do the LeMans cars do it? I think some of them just use regular HID's and then have a yellow coating on the outer headlight lens.
