Default Rear spring length for a 87 CRX?

Sorry for such the newb question but what free length spring should I run on the rear of a 87 CRX?

I read the FAQ and some posts and they all seem to point to something in the 6"-8" range.

This will be for a track only CRX on shortened Koni shocks.

I ran a coil-over set up with 6 inch tall springs on the rear of my 1st gen SCCA GT-4 CRX. I had to fabricate an upper spring perch out of some aluminum plate with a hole in the middle of it to go where the original rear spring seated. I didn't see any other way to do it, and it worked out well.

I run 6 inch 600lb ERS springs in the rear. I am using Tokico adjustables. I am exactly in the middle of the adjustment range of my OPM coilover sleeves.

Hey, hold up on the shopping. I'll give you a call later. I may have more parts to donate to the project (just need to measure the length).

I am using 8 inch, but I have a slightly different setup than most...

Also, i'm not using the tender spring anymore, and I have removed the lower spring perch as it should be, I don't know why I left it on there in the first place. The spring is 2.25", btw.
