After removing my HKS Hi-Power exhaust system a couple of days ago, i measured the stock RSX Type S exhaust system before i installed it back onto my car.

Here's the measurements taken with a ruler:
1) Cat Collector Flange- 2"ID
2) B-pipe Collector Flange- 2"ID
3) B-pipe- ~1 7/8"ID
4) Resonator/ B-pipe Exit Flange- 2 1/8"ID
5) Rear Section Inlet Flange- 2 1/4"ID which necks down to 2"ID
6) Rear Section Outlet- 2 1/2"ID
7) Exhaust Tip- 3 1/8"

Stock exhaust weight measured with a bathroom scale:
Rear Section- 14.5lbs
B-pipe (w/ stock donut gasket and spring bolts installed)- 13.5lbs.

Total weight= 28lbs.

Just for comparison, the HKS Hi-Power exhaust weighed in at 28.5lbs total weight.

 

just as an FYI, EP exhaust is smaller in every way

Can't give you any measurements because I did the install last week, so the stock exhaust is back on already, but here's the specs for the HKS:

Collector Flange- 2 1/4"ID necks down to 2"ID
B-pipe after collector flange measured to resonator entrance (B-Pipe)- 2"ID
Total B pipe (mid pipe and resonator pipe) exit flange- 2 1/4"ID
Rear section inlet- 2 1/4"ID
Rear section outlet- 2 1/4"ID
Tip- 4 5/16"ID; 4 7/16"OD

Rear Section weight- 15lbs.
B-Pipe weight- 13.5lbs.

The EP exhaust is also heavier.
