Thought id come to the proffesionals. Removing rattles... Help.
I have a 1992 civic hatchback with an h22 in it.. Well therer are like 2 or 3 panels that rattle like a bitch when idling. The civic just resonates and i want to know what you stereo guys use to get rid of rattles.. Isnt there a clay of some kind you can put in some of the panels where it clicks into the body what will stop most of the rattling?? I know there are a few guys in here who have done this.. Just wants some tips and ideas..

If it's the panel vibrating against the metal body of the car, you can use a closed cell foam like Ensolite or Volara (http://foambymail.com)
That will help pad the pactory panel. It will also work to absorb some high freq sound.
If you want to try clay...grab some non-hardening modeling clay from an arts and crafts store.
You need to identify what is rattling though....
