Chatterbox owners - which headset do you use?
For those of you that use a chatterbox on track, which headset do you use in your own helmet?
I can't decide whether I should just get two student headsets, or get the closed-face headset for myself.

I got 2 student headsets, they were very uncomfortable until I removed the wire peice, and they are pretty good now (although still a little bulky and can get uncomfortable if you dont position them right)
It really just depends on if you want to leave the communicator installed in your helmet. I didnt want to do that, so I got 2 students. Otherwise I would have gotten 1 full face and 1 student.

I have two student headsets. The in-helmet headset didn't work out for me, as it would constantly pop out of place or not line up with my ears and mouth. Also, dual student headsets makes it easy to loan it to friends.

I am only likely to use the Chatterbox myself, with my only helmet. I have the instructor headset, in which the individual pieces are velcro'ed into the inside of my helmet. I also have the Chatterbox unit fastened on the side of my helmet (it comes with the hardware to do this). I really prefer it this way. Any time I need it, it's there, and I don't have to worry about holding it or inserting/removing the headset when I put my helmet on. Very convenient.
So far one of the ear pieces has come loose (the velcro part which sticks onto the helmet lining came out) and I need to re-fasten it, but I don't expect that to be a problem.

Ditto- and of course the Student headset for the passenger... love it.

I have two student headsets and I'm happy with it. I tried a closed face headset for my own helmet and couldn't get the earpieces to stay in place in my helmet (Bell M3). Also, and this was the really annoying part, the volume was out of sync between the closed face headset and the student headset. So when you talked into the student mic, you could hear well in the closed face ear pieces, but when you talked into the closed face mic, you couldn't hear well in the student headset. I took it back and tried about 5 combinations of other headsets and they all had that problem. Using two student headsets solved it.
I used one with the student headset my first time and just fell in love the whole system altogether.
I got a second hand set in extremely good condition and although it has the full face setup, I'm gonna order 2 student setup's for ease of use and attach the unit somewhere in the cabin.
I was pretty impressed with the mic's as for noise cancellation when I first used them and was sold on the student boom mikes thereafter.
