Default Are there any sick hondas out there?

The Supraforums kills section always has videos or stories of beating bikes and high end modded cars. and their signatures boast high hp numbers.. I remember cheezfrog said "I dont wanna just beat single turbo supras.. I wanna do them ugly" Just wondering if anyone is actually doing it? I know motormatrix mike is fast and challenged a 900hp supra. but the guy keeps turning him down.(think he is scared) and at one point he wanted to race Jesus. but the car was sold before that ever happened. are there any other really deadly hondas/acuras out there? are there any that can at least take out a 700hp supra or stang?

did you do that with drag radials or something because we have a 600whp hatch and a 500whp coupe around here that can't get out of the 12's. Whats your secret. thats really good numbers for your psi level too

My best on street tires is a low 12. Its nothing special from a dig on street tires. But I have only lost once on the highway to a buddys busa.

Can't get out of the 12's on street tires? If so that is fairly typical for high powered hondas on radials, from what I have seen.

HndaHvn on here (Allen) is a streetcar... He drives it to local meets, and will pretty much take neone's challenge... Haven't seen him turn one down yet... He also took a 600 whp+ Supra from like 30-40 mph roll when he first got the set-up... There is a vid of it on the link below... enjoy...

http://www.h-heaven.com/

I also know of another hatchback in this area that made 400+ whp on pump gas and took out a pretty well known T/A...

Most the the high hp Supra guys do highspeed street roll-on's, and the problem with high-power Honda's is their limited high-speed gearing. On low speeds, a high-power Honda will spin and spin and spin...but when they actually caught traction, they are topped out (redline limited), while Supra still has their sixth gear to go. Honda's are fast on quarter mile with drag slicks, but they can't release their potential on the street especially for high-speed roll-on's (from what I observed).

Local rule of thumb in dayton and cincinnati is highway run at 40 up to top of 125mph. Local champ has a 600hp hatch, works for Basz racing in cincinnati.

There was a video of a guy not long ago from Texas I believe. It was an integra beating an r6 from the dig on the street or something?

Honda's are awsome cars racing from a roll. From a launch they suck...but from a 40mph roll to about 150, a high HP honda is king...It's all about the light weight.

A 600hp GSR with a GSR tranny with some 15" 50 series tires, and a redline of around 9.5K, can easily get up to 160 in no time.

What is the top speed of TT supras? I have been in a couple boosted hondas going 140+ but the speedo didn't go high enough to really tell. One has an LS tranny and seemed like it would go quite a bit further if i remember correctly. That would be the ultimate kill. The few supra owners around here think an exhaust and a loud bov makes them king of the street.
