Does anybody know the spline count on a 91 S1 tranny or the clutch plate diameter?

Not sure of either, but when you're ordering a clutch kit, specify you need one for a 90-91 Integra.

 

small spline trannies have 21 teeth on the disc
the PP is the same diameter on all b sereis

Well, I have the same tranny. Its a 24 spline, and its 1" diameter. I'm not sure about clutchmasters, but its a size "L" from ACT.

 

Wow, that bit of info put me right backk where I started! 21 or 24 splines in a 1991 S1 tranny?

Is the answer, like everything else, it depends? Damn, nothing easy so I guess that means either break it down or take a chance. Hmmmm. Anybody else with 411 to add?

all the 90-91 b series trannies were small spline. the 92+ are all big spline.

 

Red Civic T, I can tell you for a fact that the S1 has 24 spines, and is 1" diameter. This is not just info that i am passing on, THIS IS WHAT I AM RUNNING RIGHT NOW.

 

Cool, I checked with clutchmasters today - as you said. they said all were 24 spline but that SOME S1's of that year come with large, and some small apertures for input shaft...Mine, as I seem to gather and you say is small shaft, with 24 splines, so went and ordered that Stage IV...
