00-01 ITR Cams, ITR intake valve springs, need retainers?
I know it's not a must to have the springs with these cams, but I'm just going to get them to be safe. Now my question is, do i need to buy retainers as well?

I don't know if you NEED them...but I would. Springs and retainers are a pain in the *** to replace...and the retainers arent THAT expensive...so if you're going to go ahead and do the valve springs go ahead and do the retainers as well

not really, it all depends on how old your current setup is... if its a 1st gen head then its worth the investment of getting new ones while its taken apart. however you dont even need the itr valvetrain unless you are going 8500rpm... but thats just me..

Its for a 2nd gen b16.
So it's a pain in the *** to replace springs and retainers?
