Hi CRXLST; If you want to get your best times @ the track you need to get slicks, now if you do not care and you just want to miss around get the drag radials. Either way its all about having fun, now in regards to the axles I would hold up, you can still run radials or slicks and not break a axle GOOD LUCK.

I look at it this way:
If I'm looking for 1.9-2.0 60's... I go drag radials.
If I'm looking for 1.8-1.7 60's... I go slicks.
Of course there is a considerable amount of stress difference with 60' times, so it is sort of a trade off. Its all about what you are looking for, the price you are willing to pay, and the risk you wanna take.
