Default Picking up a 93 gs-r on Monday.

It belongs to a guy I went to school with since kindergarten. I offered him $2,500 for it and it is pretty much a done deal. I was just wondering if it is a good deal and if there is anything I should be looking for. The motor has 215,000 miles and it is all stock. There is no dents from what I can remember and the paint was in pretty good condition considering how old it is. The guy that has it isnt into cars and his mom has been driving it for the last few months so I dont think it has been beaten on. I am going to look at it on Monday for a test drive and check it out more closely.

What color? Teal, red or white?
Good price. Mileage sounds high though, for that price. Hope the rest of the car is VG+.

It is white. I have a friend who abandond a G2 project a few months ago who has a small pile of JDM parts. We allready struck a deal on the parts which will go on the gs-r. Parts are as listed:

One peice headlights
power folding mirrors
jdm gauge cluster
jdm steering wheel

yeah that's a good deal..even though the miles are so high. test the compression and maybe it's still a strong runner. it could be safer just to rebuild the engine now rather than wait for it to explode and maybe have to get rid of the b17 block....

Yeah thats a good idea. For right now I just want it for a daily driver. I am not going to be driving it hard. I mainly want it so I will have something to drive while my R is in the shop getting body work done.
