I personally don't care for CF fenders, but just an FYI for yah. I have yet to see a company make real CF fenders, but rather all the ones that I've seen (others besides ImportFan) have a metal structure with CF overlay. The Integra in the picture has the same fenders... metal structure underneath (I know cause I tapped on them when I saw it at the Autobacs HT meet... sorry if that pisses the owner off), and same construction as other fenders. Thus, metal construction = same weight as an OEM fender, thus no extra weight savings.

But what he said is actually productive. When you get in an accident, think CF fenders are gonna help?

i dont think that fenders are a factor when youre in an accident. i mean, the crumple zones and whatnot are underneath and in the frame. i guess it would just suck a fat one if you were in a minor fender-bender and ruin the whole fender. then again, maybe im wrong and/or retarded.

I can't see where you would save much weight at all. I sell car parts for a living and a factory fender already weighs next to nothing in the first place. I'm not saying that the carbon fiber piece isn't lighter, but I'm not sure the minimal weight savings are worth the money.

im not sayin there is a huge difference in weight between them either ...and also how strong do you actually think the stock fender is anyway ...you get into can accident a stock fender isnt goin to save your life ...they crumple just as esy as a the CF prob would ...i mean ive seen hail do some decent damage to stock fenders before they both have their weaknesses ...if you get into an accident wether you have stock fenders or not your still goin to have to pay to get it fixed ...the only thing is if you got CF fenders it will cost a whole lot more ...

I think they would look good on a black car but thats about it....and as far as choosing them over stock I would only do so if it was neccesary(cause of accident or whatever)...
