i am pretty sure the type s axleback will not bolt up to the base(correct me if i am wrong). if i get a type s catback, will it fit my base? thanks in advance

so the flange off the S axleback(and spoon n1 for that matter) requires 3 bolts to bolt up to the b pipe, while the base requires only 2?

who cares? Get it anyway and get a muffler shop to do the cutting and welding!

situation is this simann: i had a spoon n1 on my base- paid 55 dollars for cut/weld and install. my exhaust was stolen about a month ago, as ghetto as that is. I need a stock exhaust and want to minimize any more cost because i am now 500 dollars in the hole. i want to avoid cut/weld. i want to avoid aftermarket for fear of getting jacked again.

I believe you can buy an adapter for around $60 or so that will allow you to bolt up a Type S catback to a Base. Check Clubrsx for more info, there was a thread on this subject.
