I bought this today:

It's the Panasonic CQ-VAD7300U. Worried whether or not this will fit in the top slot where the stock radio was. Thinking the screen may not be able to clear the climate controls.

Ideas, suggestions? Is this a good deck?

 

If that radio was in my car when I encounter the wheel hops, the screen on that would rip right off

 

switch the order around. put the player on the bottom and the pocket on the top.

It was $1000 flat out.

And I can't really switch the order around the way it is all mounted.

 

i had that problem i put the monitor on the bottom and the dvd player/pocket up top..also if the screen slides out more then thats a plus. gude luck!

I think he meant the pocket and the player, no tthe dvd and screen
either way you shouldn't have to, the screen has enough adjustment to come out farther than the climate controls, and a quick down button so that the screen will come half-way down so that you can adjust heater controls and then goes back to where it was

 

wut do u mean u cant switch it around? am i not understanding ur question correctly?

 

my friend has the pioneer dvd player in his gsr and the screen always touches the controls when the screen is up and when the screen is coming out the screen it barely clears the shift ****.
