it depends on the setup and tuning. If all is the same the h22 should win.

Quick question for you guys with turbo H23's. What RPM do you shift at?? I feel bad taking my car up to 5500rpms.....let alone 6500.

Sorry, I don't know JACK about turbos.

i think the h23 will win , if you talking about a stock drag4 kit on each motor at the same boost , some reason most h23's make more power at the same boost unless theres some carzy t4 turbo setup on the h22 with a full standalone

I would say the H22 would win, w/ same setup and same boost. It has more base power, better gearing, and a higher redline.

I'd still rather boost an H23

The H22a has higher compression which should be better off of the line and increase spool up times. It also has shorter gears then the h23a does. However, the h23 has more displacement which will yield a bit more power. All in all, if both h23 and h22 have the EXACT same set-up and same basic tune (simple AFC) then I would say the vtec might should within a few tenths of a second.

I have my redline set-up at 7100 on my h23a. When the motor internals were stock and I simply ran a drag gen 2 turbo kit with exhaust, apexi avc-r, AEM pulleys, micky t slicks I ran a 8.8 on the 8th mile at 8psi untuned.

No more bench racing posts, Thanks.
