I have an HF Engine. What trannys fit up to it. Also what would be the best tranny to get for this engine.

 

What will you be using the car for?

 

I'm assuming any d series tranny from that period will fit.

Fuel ECO: keep your stock tranny
Acceleration: Si tranny.

 

keep it using the HF tranny...no need to change it to Si, unless you change the engine too...

 

well the reason for it is becasue the tranny is going out and i need one bad. So i want to be able to pick up anything that will fi and put it on. Iwould like to get a new engine but i just dont have the money right now (trying to move out)

 

If you want to save money I have a 4sp tranny that will fit... pm me if you want it...I am in San Diego..not a far drive
