Question for those with HID kits
i have the catz 4300 and theres is just a tad of yellow at the top of the cutoff. You dont notice it most of the time~its completely white. Are you saying theres some yellow on the road or against a wall?
I've heard this before when it comes to 4100/4300k kits, it's from using non-HID projectors. Over time your bulbs will colorshift and the yellowness will go away some\totally.
I'm in the same boat as you are. It mostly when I shine it up against a wall. When driving I can't really notice.
One thing I did notice is that my light doesn't shine that far out in front on the road. When I check the position of my headlights the little bubble is in the middle. What's can I do so that it will shine out further on the road.
Thanks

retrofit some HID projectors, I think there is a company that does them but it's a bit pricey. I have the same prob as you, visually I don't see a spread of light going very far but I still see the reflective white in street signs and stuff that are far away get lit up.

They don't need to 'break-in.' They just need time to colorshift to become more blue\purple. All HID capsules colorshift over-time which means they move up in kelvin temp\color the more they are used.
Even if the bubble is in the middle, Aim them up a bit. I have mine aimed up and the light output is pretty good. Before I aimed them I thought, what a waist of money, I can't even see that far. Now they're fine and I don't even want HID projectors anymore.

That is where it is supposed to be aimed, the bubble in the middle means it is vertically level. It is in the owners manual.

My buddy told me the same thing.
I got my 4100k kit from xenon depot, I started to notice that some of the yellow has gone away after I started using them a lot.
