Default Insurance rates for ITR??

Hi guys,
I recently brought a VW GTI 1.8T, fully loaded. The final price came up to about 35000 cdn. I just learned today that the DC2 ITRs still left in dealerships sell for 37000 on the road. DANG!
I love the ITR as hell, but the reason I brought the GTI is that i thought insurance will be much cheaper. Does any body know how much more the ITR's insurnace is compared to the GTIs? I heard people paying like almost 7000/yr for ITR insurnace.
I'm under 21 and now i"m paying 3100/yr for two persons for the GTI, and I"m from the Toronto area. How much do you think the ITR insurnace will cost?

Insurance varies widely, you might as well just ask your carrier. My bro is 27 and pays only like 1200 US, maximum coverage. He doesnt have an alarm either. But you ask some kids on here with like 2 tickets in the past year, they pay like $300 or more per month.

I pay like 650 for 6 months with Allstate.. but I am in PA.
but I am clean for 5 years..

note: eventhough I have an R, I drive defensively (like the Steelers) and slow (also like Steelers-> can't score or slow to score)...

I pay $130 a month over here in vancouver with thier Government controlled Insurance.. but back in Ottawa i payed almost $200 a month... I dont know where u live in Toronto, but I know that depending on what area you do, your insurance rate varies. And the insurance companies consider the ITR a high risk car out there too...same thing happend to my bro, he was gonna get one, but the insurane was too much.

Allstate, full coverage, $250.00 deductible, multi-car discount(I also own a 1992 Civic CX), I am 21 years old, single male, driving less than 10 miles round trip daily. $189.00 a month for both cars. I think it's $140. for the integra and $49 for the cx.

I just moved to Cali from Pittsburgh. In Pittsburgh I was paying about 200 a month. When I moved it went up over 400/year. All I have is a 5 over and no points.

Go Steelers!
