I'm wonding what black JDM Recaros usually sell for? Do these sit any lower than the stock leather seats or are they about the same? and for those that have these seats, coment on how you like them. and post pix if you have them. TIA

 

those seats are so dope i want them also. there was someone in sponsor market place selling them for 1200 shipped, which is a steal. he ran out of black, but still has red. im an idiot for not jumping on it. expect to pay around 1300-1400 though, if you find a deal let me know.

 

This guy like an hour from me said he has a few sets for sale. and he's selling black for $1000. Too bad I dont have that much right now. ANybody wanna buy some '98 leather seats? lol

 

Are they worth it? People w/these seats, chime in. I want some more imput...

 

let just say, after a long drive you can pratically sleep on it..it's just that comfortable.
1000 is relatively a saving.

never sat in sparco torino or milano..
but from the looks of it, the jdm srII or srIII have more support.

and as for comfort the the recaro srIIor III can be recline in 1 or 1/2 of an inch increment/forward or backward.

How do they compare to Sparco Torinos or Milanos?

 

i hav a sparco speed in my car and i luv it, are u going 4 comfort or race?

 

comfort with support. It's my daily driver so i want something reclinable.

 

I bought mine for $1400 shipped from Brian Wong b18c_powered_si on this board. They are awesome. The height seems a little lower than the stock seats and they are so comfortable. Definately a worth while investment. I will try and get some good shots this weekend.

 

Than go with the recaros, the sparcos torinos weigh lyk 40 pounds, and the recaros look better n-e ways.

1300 a pair. And that deal for 1200 was amazing

I had cloth seats, but with the recaro rails, these seats definitely sit higher.

It's also a bitch to climb in and out of, but the comfort level is 10X greater than the stock seats.

 

hummm ... I had a set of sparco torinos and I bought a set of jdm recaro for my bro .... if I had a chance to do it all over again .... I would pick the recaros ... don't get me know I liked the torino and all ... it just those recaros are so damn comfy !!!! torinos I think looks a lil betta tho ... either way ya can't go wrong ...

 

You guys like the black ones best? I'm all about the red ones. The yellow ones are nice too but only in a yellow car.

 

They're great. comfortable for daily driving. holds you in great. They're about the same height as oem usdm seats. Downside is its a little annoying getting in & out, unwanted attention, and no weight savings.

From what I've heard, s2k seats are great too. they sit at least an inch or more lower and holds you in pretty well. Of course you'd need to modify them.

 

Yea, i've also been considering black S2K seats. Hmmmm, S2000 or Recaro.... I hate decisions like this...

 

i also wouldn't mind the s2k seats wouldn't mind having the 03 si seats either
but all in all i would go w/ some recaros jdm or even the aftermarket which you can find a lil cheaper

 

the 03 si seats sit extremely high in a ek. i like when a seat sits low, more like integra rails in a ek.
