Default PW0 Ecu on Sohc Vtec motor?

I have a Z6 motor in my 88 REX-si. I was just wondering if I could use the PW0 Ecu to run my vtec instead of using the RPM activate switch? If so would this make my car run stronger than the PM6 Ecu that I have now? Thanks.

you'll have a knock sensor code.

also the engine will run VERY rich, and set the rev limit too high, so if you misshift, 8200 will probably blow your engine, or atleast **** your bearings.

if you could hook up a knock sensor on your z6, then it would run fairly well, but still rich and too high of rev limit

Would it be the same story on a PR3? I also have full fuel upgrades so i could just lean it out a little on the regulator.

I've done it with PR3 Auto ECU and it run very strong. Play with the fuel Pressure and timing and you'll be very happy. I still have the A pipe with 2 oxygen spaces for sale , PM me if you want it.
