what do i need for a 92-95 si/ex swap into a 89 DXhatch???
i want to know what i need for this swap??? what kind of axles, mounts, wiring do i get can i use my stock ones or do i have to use the 92-95 si/ex ones??? is there a site where i can go out to find the wiring??? is this a plug in play??? please help if u can... thanks
not plug and play, but doable.
You can use your axles, motor mounts, even tranny( though the CRX si trans has better acceleration than the dx ).
Wiring, at the least, you will have to change to the CRX si( multi port injection ), and use an rpm activated switch to activate VTEC. This isn't the best set up, but it will work. I think you can use an Apexi VFAC to control VTEC, and you can use this to correct the fuel settings during VTEC also.
Another option, rewire to the CRX si set up, and get a Zdyne ECU with the one wire conversion, to control the VTEC crossover( this is probably more expensive than the other options though. )
Check in the hybrid forum on H-T, or check http://www.resource.crx.org
in there hybrid forum. Also, check the hybrid online resource page?? I am unsure of the URL.

It is doable. REwire your harness for multiport FI. Then use all the OBD1 stuff and one of my conversion harnesses. It is pretty easy. Let me know if you need help
