Default Has anyone had this kind of luck?

Ok so I was driving down I95 two nights ago and this Semi is in the far right lane just crusin down the road. I was in the fast lane and all of a sudden my worst fear happens. The truck kicks up a rock about the size of a softball!!! I was like OMG!!!! I couldn't swerve or that could have been even more disasterous. Mind you last month I hit a dead deer on the NJ Turnpike.
Anyway I watched helplessly as the rock bounced 3 times before it made contact with my hood. All I heard was the rock bouncing under the undercarrage. Ughhhh!!! So I get to my girls house hoping that the rock just hit my bumper and no damage besides a big scratch. No such luck. When I got there the hood on the drivers side right where the headlight grill and hood meet got smashed.

the only good thing for me is that I have a spare Cervini Sniper hood at my house but I was trying to sell it. Unless someone wants to trade a stock hood or a factory style fiberglass hood.

Too much booze early in the morning can be a good or bad thing.

LOL thats funny. No Icouldnt have swerved. . . The rock was coming from the right side towards me and there was a concrete median with a half lane shoulder. Either way would have been a disaster.

it's the hood with the two vents that are slanted. It was on the car when my wife had it but I dont think it looked right. since then the car's been dropped and rolls on a set of 17's so it might just look ok. We'll see, in any case it needs to be painted but it's advantage is its lighter than the stock hood by far. Weight reduction on a heavy car.
