I want to relocate my head unit to the slot in the center console near where the cup holders are. Has anyone ever done this? Is there an aftermarket kit for this? Please post pics of this if you have done this! Thanks!

 

I have a '98, and left my stock radio in place, but installed my Kenwood deck in that slot. The holes in the braces on each side lined up perfectly with the ISO mount holes in the deck, and I just screwed it in place. I've never seen a stock radio relocated there, but in theory, should work... Keep us posted...

 

i put it in the same spot. I just went to the honda dealership and ordered the part....came to like 100 canadian i think. The only downfall i can see with having it there is that i've somwhat lost the use of the cupholders for drinks because my 7995 sticks out a little so the cover for the cup holder doesn't go all the way up.

On the plus side if you leave the stock deck in the stock location all you have to do is take the faceplate off and pop up the cup holder cover and it doens't look like you've got anythign there. great for security.
