Default ls or gsr

just sold my b18 hatch in order to get a teg. cant decide whether to get a gsr wiht a bit more mileage(around 75,000) or save a lil money and go with the ls with probably about 50,000 miles. will not be going turbo, so will just be getting basics at first(intake, header, exaust) then hopefully maybe a lil more building it up after a year or two. wut u guys think the possitives and negatives of the two cars are.

GS-R

Especially if you plan on rebuilding the motor, why handicap yourself with the LS?

yeah, dont waste money on bolt ons if you plan on going boost. I'd get the gsr, but if you can a ls for cheap and use the left over money for boost, why not?

He said he will NOT be going turbo. So go with the GS-R! Hell mine has over 146k miles and it still runs real strong!

That is a pretty vague answer.....The bottom line is go with a GSR. It makes 30 more HP and IF, notice I said IF, you go turbo I would have rather started with a GSR. Plus you get a better tranny.

The guy isn't going to boost. So if you are staying N/A, go GSR. Don't waste your time on the LS if you staying N/A.
