Honddata or VAFC I have searched and still am unclear
Ok, I am facing the delima of buying a Hondata kit or a Vafc, I have a b17 with I/H/E Cams, Cam gears, Port and Polished head, B&M Fuel pressure regulator, motor was rebuilt 20k ago, and am running a 80 shot wet nos kit, I have searched and I am very unclear on what I should do any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hmm what kind of cams are you running with that high of a shot?
If it weren't for the n2o I would say get a VAFC - but when you have something that needs to be tuned as seriously as that, Id go hondata.
The VAFC really will take care of simple tuning needs that a moderate NA setup will create - but when it gets more complex (ie FI, LUMPY cams, N2o), I would go standalone.

If you have the money to burn, the hondata would be the better investment, it is a far more powerful management solution than a VAFC. I think the VAFCs only allow a certain amount of fuel correction, and lack the capabilty to adjust for timing corrections. The only good/bad thing about the VAFC is it allows you to modify things on the fly if you know what your doing or in the event that you don't know what your doing break things. Its all about the Benjiis if you have the money for the hondata and tuning and don't need to change your vtec switch point every 5 minutes why bother with the VAFC
