Default Question about my tb?

Ok i put edlebrock tb on a while ago and whenever i go to start the car when its cold the throttle is stuck and i have to kick the pedal to get it free and when im whaling vtech at full throttle and let go of the pedal it gets stuck. Should i adjust the butterfly alittle bit so it doesnt close fully but wont that affect my idle. I dont know what to do.

If lube doesn't work, maybe the throttle body is warped. Try loosening the bolts, nuts (whatever) and torque them them to the book spec.

Or remove the throttle body from the intake manifold and see it still hangs up. Removing the TB will give you a much better chance to flush out the built-up gunk.

Good luck,
John

it shouldnt be that complicated , maybe the TB itself sucks IMO . Installing a TB is not that hard , the only thing that you have to make sure (which you dont have an issue with ) is the TB sensor that affects your idle , since in some aftermarket TB is able to adjust and if not place correctly it can become an issue...

Adjust the throttle stop screw to prevent the throttle plate from closing completely. You will have to readjust your TPS afterward.
