Default Don't let nobody ride your bike!

I let some kid ride mine last night, and he wiped out the tail and subframe . . . Would you rather be considered an a-hole and still have a bike? or be a nice guy that's stuck home on bike nights? don't do it . . . learn from the mistakes of moron's like me who try and be nice . . . not even your best friend . . . It feels pretty crappy lookin at my poor bike . . . since my bike is very fixable, its now officially a stunt bike . . . and I still won't let anybody ride it . . .

Damn, sorry to hear that bro, hopefully they pay for the damages to at least get it back on the road and riding.

u shoulda read my post couple months ago. Same thing happened to me except my front fairing, side, rear, stator cover, and subframe were all screwed. Only thing i've bought is the side fairing, subframe and stator cover. The rear and front are still ghetto; front is zip tied and rear i plastic welded and spray painted. Friend paid everthing tho, its just hard to try to find really cheap prices cause i know he doesnt have much money

How did your bike ride after that? I'm obviously not planning on taking it to the track, but I'm pretty bummed to the idea of riding around on something that belongs in the dumpster . . . My front end is fine, my sub-frame is also bent though . . . Does that affect the ride?

buy a cheap bike with duct tape and **** on it already, and dont sweat when you ro your friends wipe it out... works well for me, and i still get to ride for the enjoyment of riding like it should be, instead of constantly worrying about how pretty my bike is and if i'll get clowned for riding a "street fighter"

EDIT: wouldn't saying "Don't let nobody ride your bike!" be the same as saying "Let everyone ride your bike!"

The only person I have let ride my bike is my brother, who has the same bike as me, just in red I was kinda iffy about him riding too, cuzz he has dumped his bike twice, very minor damage though, just cosmetic.

That's the number 1 golden rule you broke, man! "Don't let anyone ride it." is the FIRST thing they told me at the dealership when taking delivery of my RR. Not that I didn't already know that, but at least they were looking out for me.

Let's hope your friend's mom don't find out the bike's been crashed. JFWY!!!

bike rides fine still, just really ghetto. Its somewhat good that he dropped it. I am able to practice my stunting without too much concern about messing up my plastics. If i need to sell it i'll tell my friend i neeeeed them and he will pay. Just been riding around a little ghetto, no big deal tho.

Thats cool . . . I was worried about hurtin my bike too, but now I'm stunnin it out. . . I smashed the tank in already, I ordered an engine cage (among other things to get it back on the road) and once I start scrapin tail, I'll be ordering a 12 bar . . .
Here's the 64k question:
He told me today he had some hospital bills. Am I legally responsible for his injury/health? I don't have insurance on the bike so I'm kinda worried about that . . .

If he seriously brought that up you are bound by the rules to beat his *** the next time you see him. Here's a tip, ditch the bitch. He could try to sue you but he'd lose and probably have to pay you for damages. If only you had sliders on...

yea I'm not exactly sure what hit the tank right over the honda wing . . . but in the midst of sitting there waiting for my rescue truck, we smashed the tank in and made a nice lil high chair seat . . .

I haven't tried a high chair wheelie, but I can do high chair stoppies . . . I'll tell you the setup that I got that should make your bike perfect for stunnin . . . 1 down in the front and 2 up in the back. My first gear sit downs, I can upshift them into second and ride them out for prolly half a mile, I can do slow stand-ups, and faster(50mph+) stand-ups. I got a Vortex sprocket and an RK 520 chain, and it was like a different bike. Throws your speedo off a lil, and drops your top speed a few MPH or so, but its worth the acceleration for more consistent wheelies and better hole shot . . . You should get a tank off a wrecked F4i and smash it in and throw that on there . . . Your in georgia? throw your bike on a trailer and ride down here, we'll do some stunnin
