Front beam support?
You guys know that front beam support behind the bumper? Is there a way to take that off and keep the stock bumper? I know that 92+ civic's can do it(because I removed the one form my 4dr), but how come these EF's are so freakin' hard to play with?
You are going to lose a lot of chassis rigidity by removing it. But yes, you CAN remove it. Lots of people take it out for thier drag cars. For a street car, I wouldn't. Not even for a 92+.
You won't lose chasis rigidity. The Japanese EF's don't come with that support on the front or rear. If you get a SiR front end you can mount the bumper without that support. Otherwise you'll probably just have to get creative and use zip ties or something.
