Default DC5 Type R in America????

hey guys
over the weekend me and my boys were driving and my boy Paul said that the dc5-R was in AMerica. so we drove to a dealer and it was a RSX Type-S with an "A-spec" badge where the type R badge should be. It had type-R rims and wing and looked real "R-ish"

Here's my question:
Are we ever getting the dc5-R and what does a-spec mean??

as we speak thers no type r, but maybe one day will be cool enough to get it here.
the a-spec package is s type-r wing, 17" wheels, and i believe a different suspinion set up.

Trust me, those rims are not the Type R rims, I have the Type R rims on my S. The only thing that is Type R on that car is the wing. Not worth the money. Skip that A-Spec raping ****.

Thats the base price. The A-Spec package increases the price by about $4000, not including installation.

It's a very nice car. But then just gets reallly ugly once you see that price tag.

Here's something to think about:

mugen mf-10 17x8 $660 per wheel ($2640 for a set)
http://www.kingmotorsports.com/

yokohama AVS ES100 245/45WR17 $116 per tire ($464 for a set)
http://www.tirerack.com/

DC5R Rear Spoiler $625
http://www.jdmhondaparts.com/

DC5R Front Chin Spoiler $400
http://www.jdmhondaparts.com/

DC5R Rear Chin Spoiler $400
http://www.jdmhondaparts.com/

Grand Total: $4529.00
*not counting labor/paint

yeah..i hope nobody's foolish enough to go for the "a-spec".

Pretty nice but I don't think that's a USDM TypeR. Because the rims look like 16s and it doesn't have the TypeR front clip, skirts and rear clip.

He needs to bling!!.. LOL

Better list:

Tein Flex = $2,000.00
Intake = $220.00
Exhaust = $500.00
Comptech race header = $ 1,000.00
Falken Azenis = $400.00
Total: $4,120.00

Hmm.. I wonder which one sounds better.

150-Shot two stage Nitrous system $900
2 BF Goodrich Drag Radials $300
Gutted Interior $0
I win. Honestly, I believe even the base model RSX is overpriced. I mean you could get an EF and go way much faster and look nicer for under $10,000 total.

So overpriced rationalization = st00pid. Different stroke for different folks.

Understand that a EF is an old car. of course it's going to be cheaper.
