Default :: EJ6 Hatch as of 01/03/03 :: HX lips painted red... ::

Well, here is some update pictures of the hatch. Things that are different it I decided to paint the HX wheels lip anodized red I threw some before, during, and after pictures in there. Also, I added a spoon muffler that highly fabricated but at least sounds and performs great. Also some spoon bling decals which I'm thinking about tossing. Also the car is back on oem shocks and springs as of today in preperation for a new suspension. I change my mind alot

I'm thinking about a front end conversion so thats why I'm not waisting money on a lip. I'm definatly swaping so all thats under the hood now is a COMPLETELY stock y7. Engine kicks *** with the new exedy organic clutch.

Pictures were taken at the Branch Avenue metro station in MD

They were taken with a Sony Cyber-Shot 3.2MP camera. Camera is excellent, photographer is new so that why the pictures arn't 100% perfect.

The wheel would look AWESOME if the "H" was painted red.

It was dropped when I took these pictures on complete coilovers. It was like 1.75 all the way around cause I didn't have a front camber kit and didn't want to kill the tires.

yea, but I will probably beat something if I see another spray can. I'm about done with the DIY painting phase. I'm ready to just start spending a little extra money for real quality stuff. I love the way stuff looks when you do it yourself but I hate when you notice one day that your job will not hold up. But until then, I love these

The rims turned out great...good DIY job on that Got any close up pics of the rims? Did you use Duplicolor's metal cast paint for the lip? Reason I ask is because I've been thinking about doing the same to my rims. Also, could you describe the steps and materials you used in prepping and painting the lip? TIA

your right, spoon muffler is kinda hurt right now and need to be redone. I'm trying to put off for a while and just get a complete system after the swap. I can't decide if the mods i have on the hatch is temporary or if the hatch itself it temporary.

Yea, once I finally get my new tein SS system and a front camber kit, I'll go a lot lower, but till then, stock kinda feels good for a change height sucks but smooth ride i kinda missed. BTW, if your selling a skunk 2 front camber kit for my car for under $180 shipped, IM me. I need one.

Yes, that is my favorite lip. If anybody is selling one, IM me I'll take the 96-98 front end for a while.
