Default 94 cx gas tank problem

ok, i had to remove the gas tank from my 94 cx because it had a huge gaping hole in it. My question is....if i goto a junkyard...what honda's have the same gas tank as mine or one that will bolt up directly.
I want a cx tank...but would an ex or dx tank also fit? Also, how much should i expect to pay for a used gas tank minus the fuel pump(i was quoted $100 for an ex tank)?
-Thanks in advance

CX is 11.9

Trust me. I put more than 10 gallons of gas in my car on a regular basis.

Might depend on year, I'm 150% sure mine (CX) is 10g and EX/Si/DX are 11.9g. WAFFLES you're the first person I've ever found to have a larger than 10g CX tank

Mine is a 10 gallon tank...fuel lines and whatnot do not count towards that 10 gallons though.

10g is tank capacity, not icluding the capacity of the filler tube which could account for your extra fuel

I've put more than 10g in my '93 CX, too.

Yup, I wrecked a 92 si and bought a 92 cx to put the z6 in. The gas tank in the CX is most definately smaller.

**** i have run out of gas completely and filled back up even with that gallon of gas i put in the car to get me to the gas station, when i fill up i only get about 8 galons in teh tank. so if i didnt have that gallon i put on their earlier it would be 9 gallons. i filled up today i was on e completly, pump stopped at 8.5 gallons. so i had about half a gallon left in there. io can never get over 9 in the tank ever even when its empty.

weird, because I have filled up almost 14gallons more than once, and I fill up about 12gallons on a regular basis. I'm not trying to argue with anyone here, so please don't take it that way. But if someone says they've swapped tanks, and the cx is smaller, then that's teh way it is.....I just don't understand how I can fill up 13.5gallons with a 10gallon tank.

and if anyone wants to say i'm lying, trust me, I have no reason to lie about filling up 13.xx gallons of gas.

I swear that my CX has a 8 gallon tank. Completely empty = never more than 8 gallons. It's always like 7.8 gallons.

I don't trust pumps for accuracy anyway.

Read my post above yours. Whenever I fill up right on E it's like 7-7.5 gallons.
