My civic was just totaled out today and i asked the insurance co. how i go about buyin it back. They said that when i get the final figure for the car to just tell them that i want the car back and ask how much less they'll give me. For those of you who have bought your cars back, how much less did they give you?

my buddy works for a reputable auto body repair facility and he deals with insurance companys all the time and he said that they will usually ask for 20% of the value of the vehicle but this is only a guideline it may be more/less it depends!
