Default 94 accord EX VTEC lost power.

I have changed, the wires, plugs, cap, rotor, Cat converter. I am still unable to get up a hill without reving the car above 2,500 RPM. I let got he clutch and step on the gas, the car will hesite for a second and then start to build power, but not enough to get up the hill properly. Could my distributor cause this? It's a VTEC with the coil inside the Distributor. How about the TPS?

why you want to go up hills under 2500? lol anyway check the TPS with a afc or a vafc and if you dont have one then break out your volt meter i guess or swap with another good TB. if the dist was a problem i would think youd see more problems than just when going up a hill @ 2500 rpms.

When did the problem start and is it just up hills or what?

check ignition timing, if it's retarded it can make the car sluggish in the low rpms

The problem happens when I let off the clutch and step on the gas. it feels as if the car stops and then start to pull. It feels like maybe the car is to heavy at first and then it gets light all of a sudden. I don't know if I am explaining it well, but a good example is when you turn on your ac you don't have the same power think of it that way but worst. Or moving off in second gear. yeah it feels as if you are moving off in second gear if you step on the gas, it will not give you enough power to get up a hill.

i think i remember you had leaking fuel injector problems / leaking fuel rail. This kinda sounds fuel injector related...ie. clogged up until peak flow.

It kinda sounds like your injectors are going digital...just 0's and 1's....("on" or "off"...not enough gradient in the flow). Have you tried dumping in some good injector cleaner? You MIGHT have to have them removed & professionally cleaned if they're really bad .

But that's just conjecture.

I have used some cleaner and never helped. If the injectors were bad would it still idle right? I have had times where when starting it, it would idle low for a second then get back to normal.

One thing that I just noticed, when the car is cold it will idle at about 1,500 RPM if I drive it at that RPM i will have the power. I can even peel out when I step on it. Is there someing happening while the car is cold that isn't when it isn't? This could help solve the problem.

I have changed the TPS. The car feels more powerful, but I don't think that was the problem. When I put the car in gear and letoff the clutch slowly, the car starts to stumble or chatter as if the clutch is trying to grab, or something. Ijust had the clutch replaced with a clutch master stage II about 4 months ago. The directions said that the flywheel needed to be resurfaced, but was never done. Do you think this could of been my problem all along?
