Well right now i'm running stong with my b16 which I have had no problems with but I am looking to upgade and wondering whats gonna be the biggest bang for the buck. What I am asking though is what kind of experience has anyone had with ls vtec and what are all the down falls to it. I use the car for an everyday in town driver so I am not sure if I should make the jump to do this if I am looking at big problems down the road. A buddy suggested that I could get a good output if I kept what I have and just did some type R pistons and add a 4 to 1 header and get a big change. Has anyone had any experience doing this? But give me some tips please. thanks nick

A lsvtec is only as reliable as the build. You can't beat the reliability of an unopened Honda motor.

 

maybe before you attempt something like lsvtec you should learn how to spell vtec . Vtech...is a phone

 

it doesnt bother me so much that you spelled VTEC wrong....its the fact that you wanna build an engine worth 3x the amount of your car

 

mine works pretty good. good reception and it holds alot of numbers in memory.
