your post makes no sense what-so-ever. "cat's" are located after the factory exhaust manifold. if you install a header the cat bolts on after that. Changing a head will not affect placement of the cat. I think you are confused

Yeah, this doesn't make much sense at all. If what you meant was:

My catalytic converter is placed near the block, just after the exhaust manifold like in the HF's. I'm assuming it came like that from the factory. I just had a CRX Si head ported and matched and I'm using the exhaust manifold and B-pipe from that. Now I don't have a cat anymore. I have and emissions inspection in 3 months, what should I do?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Or at least something like that. Ok first off, I've never heard of anyone swapping a SOHC head on a DOHC. Furthermore, I've never seen a DOHC engine with the cat next to the engine, so I'm going to assume you typo'd and meant you have a SOHC in the first place. I'm not very familiar with ZC's and I don't know if they came from the factory they way you described, but if the exhaust ports are the same, then just use your old exhaust manifold with the cat for the inspection and do whatever you want afterwords.

I don't know if this helps or not, I tried.

No what he is probably talking about is that he got a CRX Si headER that was port matched to the ZC and now he doesn't have a cat because on a CRX HF the cat is in the downpipe of the factory exhaust manifold.

If that is what you are trying to say then you should be able to use a cat and cat back from a CRX Si.
